Salima Police Seize Vehicle Carrying 23 Bags of Marijuana

Police in Salima are searching for the suspects behind a vehicle that was found carrying 23 bags of marijuana.
According to police spokesperson Rabecca Ndiwate, officers intercepted the vehicle in the Chisanga area after it was hidden behind a house, apparently awaiting a “safe” time to depart.
“Some people tipped us off that there was a vehicle carrying large bags, and we went to get it,” Ndiwate said.
Police investigations are ongoing as efforts continue to identify and apprehend those behind the illegal transportation of the drugs.
