“If They Kill Me, Will They Eat Me?” — Usi Unfazed by Death Threats

Vice President and leader of the Odyazake Alibe Mulandu party, Dr. Michael Usi, has alleged that some individuals are plotting to kill him due to his outspoken criticism of corruption and poor governance.

Speaking during a political rally at Chigumula in Blantyre, Usi said he is aware of threats against his life but remains unfazed and committed to exposing wrongdoing within government structures.

He pointed out that instead of being concerned about the alleged theft in government, some people are more upset by his statements highlighting the issue.

 “If they kill me, will they eat me? Also, in the Bible, there is a saying that it is appointed for a man to die once…”

Although he did not name those allegedly behind the plot, Usi reiterated his determination to continue speaking out against malpractice and misuse of public
