Maso Awards 2025 Set for December with K48 Million Budget

The prestigious Maso Awards, which celebrate Malawian talent across various creative industries, are making a return this year with a budget of K48 million.
According to organisers, the funding will help make the ceremony more exciting and memorable, particularly on the day of the event. Maso Awards spokesperson Memory Msatilomo said there will be 30 award categories, covering music, film, and other creative arts.
This year’s ceremony will take place at the Bingu International Convention Centre (BICC) in Lilongwe on December 13, 2025.
