Kristin Cabot, the woman at the center of the Coldplay kiss cam scandal, has officially filed for divorce from her husband, Andrew Cabot. Kristin, 52, was seen kissing her boss, Andy Byron, during a Coldplay concert in July, prompting both to resign from their roles at Astronomer.
Just weeks later, she filed for divorce in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, on August 13. At the time of the incident, Kristin was still married to Andrew Cabot, a sixth-generation heir to the Privateer Rum fortune.
According to his ex-wife Julia Cabot, Andrew reacted coldly, saying, “Her life is nothing to do with me,” and confirmed they were already separating.
Julia, a 63-year-old yoga teacher, said she wasn’t surprised and received messages calling the incident “karma.” She described Andrew as emotionally detached, claiming his only concern was money and reputation.
“This isn’t anything to do with me” is how Julia summed up Andrew’s Boston Brahmin attitude. “He’s not a nice person — now something not nice happened to him,” she added.
