Odya Zake Alibe Mlandu Leader Criticizes Political Intimidation

The leader of the Odya Zake Alibe Mlandu party and the country’s Vice President, Dr. Michael Usi, has condemned the actions of individuals who attacked officials preparing for his rally in Area 25, Lilongwe.

Mr. Usi stated that such acts of violence are deeply regrettable and warned that they have the potential to provoke anger and unrest in other areas.

He further expressed concern that the country appears to be raising a generation that embraces violence.

“This is the stupidity of these people—and those who sent them,” said Mr. Usi.
