Information reaching this publication indicates that Senior Chief Kwataine of Ntcheu has passed away.
Ntcheu District Commissioner George Ngaiyaye confirmed the development, saying that Kwataine died this morning [Monday, 29 September 2025] at Lilongwe Private Hospital in Lilongwe.
District Council Spokesperson Maston Kaiya has since advised that further details will be communicated in due course.
