19 Feared Dead After Gold Mine Collapse in Kasungu

News just coming in, it reported at least 19 people have died after a gold mine collapsed in Mduka Village, Gogode area, Kasungu District.
Senior Chief Mankwala has confirmed the incident, saying that so far eight bodies have been recovered from the site.
Rescue operations are still underway as authorities search for more people believed to be trapped. One person has been rescued alive but is reported to be in critical condition.
According to a report by Mij Online, Police and medical personnel have since arrived at the scene to assist with the ongoing rescue and recovery efforts.
