Police in Chileka, Blantyre have arrested a 16-year-old boy, Tisungane Golden, from Mponda Village, Traditional Authority (T/A) Kapeni, for allegedly vandalising railway lines in Lunzu.
According to Chileka Police Station public relations officer Jonathan Phillipo, the incident happened on October 5, 2025, after police received a tip-off about unknown individuals tampering with the railway line between Mdeka and Lunzu.
