DRAMA|| Husband Files For Divorce After He Caught His Wife Red Handed Cheating On Him In His Dreams In Zambia

Charles Sakala, 44, claimed he repeatedly dreamt that his wife, Mirriam Banda, was cheating on him, and said the visions were too vivid to ignore.

Despite no real evidence of infidelity, Sakala took the dreams seriously and abruptly left their home, abandoning his wife and three children for six months.

When he returned, it wasn’t to reconcile, but to demand a divorce, accusing Banda of being involved with a man who had shown interest in her at the spice shop where she works.
Banda told the Matero Local Court that her husband began changing after buying a car, and soon started entertaining other women.

Sakala argued that his dream was a sign from above and claimed to have “caught” his wife with the man, although there was no proof of wrongdoing.

He told the court he had warned her about associating with men in town and blamed her for not staying “in chill mode.”

Despite Banda’s efforts to save the marriage, Sakala remained adamant about ending it.
Senior Magistrate Lewis Mumba granted the divorce, awarding Banda K12,000 compensation and leaving the house in the children’s name.

The case has stirred public debate in Lusaka, with many questioning whether a dream should justify the end of a long-standing marriage.
