Newly Recruited Primary Teachers In Blantyre Demand Delayed September Salaries

Information reaching our news desk indicates that IPTE 14 to 17 teachers working in primary schools in Blantyre have gathered at the district education office to seek answers regarding the delay in receiving their September salaries.
The teachers expressed concern that, despite being assured upon recruitment that salaries would be paid at the end of each month, they have yet to be paid as of today, October 9.
They reported facing serious challenges, including difficulties in buying food, paying for accommodation, and affording transport to work.
