Four People Die in Dedza Road Accident

Four people have died in a road accident that occurred early this morning along the Khwekhwelere Road in Dedza District.
Confirming the incident, Dedza Police spokesperson Beatrice Jefita said the victims died on the spot while several others sustained various degrees of injuries and were rushed to the hospital for treatment.
According to Jefita, the victims were traveling from Dedza heading towards the lakeshore when the accident happened.
Police officers from Dedza rushed to the scene to manage the situation and facilitate the evacuation of the injured and the deceased.
Investigations are underway to establish the cause of the accident.
