Indian Businessman Dies in Road Accident in Mzimba

A 41-year-old Indian national, Priyank Patel, tragically lost his life in a road accident on Sunday afternoon near Kanoro, close to the Eswazini junction along the Mzimba–Mtangatanga M22 road.
Mzimba police spokesperson Maria Banda confirmed the incident, identifying the deceased as a local businessman who owned a shop at Mzimba Boma.
According to Banda, the fatal accident occurred as Patel was driving a Toyota Voxy from Chikangawa towards Mzimba. Upon reaching the Kanoro area, he reportedly lost control of the vehicle, which veered off the road and overturned.
Patel sustained critical head injuries and was later pronounced dead upon arrival at Mzimba District Hospital.
Police have launched investigations into the exact cause of the crash.
