A 50-year-old man from Hillside Compound in Mazabuka, Zambia, has died after allegedly being assaulted by two security officers from G4S Security Company deployed at Zambia Sugar PLC.
The deceased, Alick Phiri, was reportedly caught stealing sugarcane on October 10, 2025, between 10:00 and 11:00 a.m. in the company’s cane fields behind Nkabika Compound.
