Driemo Announces Second Album ‘The Magician’ Set for November Release

Malawian Afro-R&B star Driemo has announced that his highly anticipated second album, The Magician, will be officially launched on 22nd November 2025 at the Bingu International Convention Centre (BICC) in Lilongwe.
Speaking about the upcoming release, Driemo said the new project has been carefully crafted to reflect feedback from fans who encouraged him to collaborate more widely and experiment with diverse production styles. “After my first album, many fans told me to feature more Malawian artists and work with different producers. I listened,” he said.
The Magician features 18 tracks and includes collaborations with several local artists. The album was produced by some of Malawi’s top names in music production Nyanda Made It, Tactic, Kingtech, DJ Megi, GL, Savage, and DJ Sley.
Driemo, who rose to fame with his smooth love ballads, said this album represents growth and creativity beyond his signature romantic sound.
“My debut album changed my life completely it turned what was just a passion into a career,” he reflected. “Now, I want to give my supporters something magical.”
Driemo’s first album, Nzaliwa, launched in 2023 at Comesa Hall in Blantyre, marked a turning point in his career and established him as one of Malawi’s leading contemporary musicians.
