Mzuzu Central Hospital Refutes Allegations of Organ Theft

Mzuzu Police and officials from Mzuzu Central Hospital have dismissed claims circulating that two individuals were allegedly forced to remove a person’s organs.

Deputy Police Spokesperson Cecelia Mfune said the police received a report from the hospital regarding rumors that people were disrupting operations at the facility to carry out such acts.

However, hospital authorities confirmed that no such incident occurred and expressed surprise over the false reports spreading in the community.

Both the police and hospital urged the public to verify information before sharing to avoid unnecessary panic.
