Man Dies After Gold Mine Collapses on Him in Kasungu

A man has died after a gold mine collapsed on him in Chamamatira Village, a small chiefdom in Suza, Kasungu District.

A villager, Robert Chibwe, confirmed the incident, saying the man was trapped when the mine caved in.

Kasungu District Police spokesperson Joseph Kachikho said he needed more time to comment on the matter.
