Man Dies After Being Hit by Train in Balaka

A 29-year-old man has died after being hit by a train in Balaka District.
Balaka Police spokesperson Gladson M’bumpha confirmed the incident and said the man died while receiving medical treatment.
According to M’bumpha, the accident occurred at Majiga 1, under Chief Nsamala in Balaka District. The train was travelling from Balaka to Lilongwe City at the time of the incident.
Jimu Yuda came from Chief Makwangwala’s area in Ntcheu District.
