Egenco CEO Maxon Chitawo to Resume Teaching at Mzuni University

The government has written to Electricity Generation Company Malawi Limited (Egenco) Chief Executive Officer Maxon Chitawo, instructing him to resume teaching at Mzuni University of Technology.
Chitawo confirmed receiving the letter today, which also directed him to hand over his CEO responsibilities to one of the company’s executives, Shadric Tchado.
He replaces William Liabunya, whose contract at the university has expired.
Before joining Egenco, Chitawo taught at Mzuni for about 19 years.
