Child Dies After Being Hit by Car in Nsanje

A 7-year-old pupil at Bangula Primary School in Nsanje District has died after being hit by a car while crossing the road yesterday.
According to the deputy police spokesperson for the district, Jabulani Ng’oma, the child, identified as Hannah Nyampeza, suffered severe head injuries, and doctors at Kalemba Hospital confirmed her death upon arrival.
Nyampeza hailed from Jambo Village in the area of Chief Mbenje in the same district.
Bangula Primary School is located just a few blocks from the M1 Highway.
