Moses Kunkuyu Asks Govt to Name Mzuzu University Library After Late Chakufwa Chihana

Moses Kunkuyu, Member of Parliament for Dedza Mulunduni, has petitioned the Minister of Education, Bright Msaka, to consider naming the library at Mzuzu University after Enock Chihana.

Kunkuyu made the request during a parliamentary session, emphasizing that the proposed naming would honor Chihana’s contributions while ensuring that the leadership of the University of Malawi is guided appropriately in ongoing and future development projects.

He noted that naming the Chakufwa Chihana Library would serve as a symbolic recognition of the late national leader’s impact and legacy in education.
