MCP Spokesperson Says Malawians Want Chakwera Back to Continue Development Projects

Malawi Congress Party (MCP) spokesperson Dr. Jessie Kabwila has said many Malawians want party leader Dr. Lazarus Chakwera to return to continue the development projects he started.
He noted that people want Dr. Chakwera to focus on initiatives such as road development and job creation.
Meanwhile, Dr. Kabwila denied reports of a division within the party over the issue of leadership.
“As a constitutional party, we will leave it to the party’s central committee to choose a leader to lead the party in the 2030 elections,” he said.
