Islamic teacher arrested for forcing boys to suck him in Lilongwe

A 36-year-old Islamic teacher named Ishmael Smart has been arrested by the police in Lilongwe at Kamphuno Mosque in Chinsapo 2 in connection to allegations of caressing, kissing the private parts of five male children, and forcing them to perform inappropriate acts.
The incidents were reported to have occurred between the months of June and November this year.
It was a 15-year-old Islamic student who eventually disclosed the disturbing experiences he and his peers had been enduring at the mosque, allegedly at the hands of the suspect.
The matter was brought to the attention of the police on November 24, around 23:00 hours, following an assault on the suspect by an angry mob who had learned of the allegations.
Prompt action by the police from Chinsapo prevented further violence, and the suspect was taken to Bwaila District Hospital for medical treatment.
Currently, the suspect is in police custody in Lilongwe and will face charges of Indecent Assault in court soon.
