Security Guard Found Hanging in Salima After Family Disputes

Police in Salima are investigating the death of a 65-year-old man, Levison Samuel popularly known as Mtenje who was found dead after allegedly taking his own life in Chisani Village under Senior Chief Kalonga.
Salima Police spokesperson Rabecca Ndiwate confirmed the incident, saying preliminary investigations indicate that Samuel had been struggling with family-related issues.
According to Ndiwate, the deceased reported for his night guard duties on Sunday at a nearby lodge but never returned home afterward. His body was discovered on Monday around 3 p.m. by people passing through his garden.
A postmortem conducted at Salima District Hospital revealed that Samuel died due to strangulation consistent with suicide.
Levison Samuel hailed from Mtenje Village in the area of Senior Chief Kalonga.
