Police Probe Killing of Unidentified Man in Chiradzulu

Information reaching this publication indicates that police in Chiradzulu are investigating the suspected murder of an unidentified man whose body was found at Kalungwe Village.
According to Chiradzulu Police Station spokesperson Hubert Mwangoka, the body was discovered yesterday after Group Village Head Kalungwe reported seeing it dumped in the village graveyard.
CID officers who visited the scene observed that the man had multiple cuts on the head and was bleeding from the nose.
The body was later taken to Chiradzulu District Hospital mortuary for identification and a postmortem examination.
Police believe the crime occurred between December 7 and 8.
Investigations to establish the identity of the deceased and the circumstances surrounding the killing are underway.
