Kabwira, Mumba and Chimwendo Banda to appear in court today

Police say former cabinet ministers Vitumbiko Mumba, Richard Chimwendo Banda and Jessie Kabwila, who were arrested between Friday and today, are expected to appear in court today.

Mumba and Chimwendo Banda were arrested on Friday, while Kabwila handed herself over to police yesterday.

Details surrounding their arrests remain unclear. National Police Deputy Spokesperson Alfred Chimthere said the circumstances will be explained when the three appear in court.
