Police Recover Stolen Ultrasound Machines in Chiradzulu

Police in Chiradzulu District have recovered two ultrasound scanning machines that were allegedly stolen by a health worker at a government hospital in the district.
Chiradzulu Police spokesperson, Hubert Mwangoka, said that the medical equipment was found at the house of a hospital employee identified as Yamikani Mapapa.
Mwangoka said Mapapa, who is 30 years old and hails from Nasawa Village under Traditional Authority Chikowi in Zomba District, is suspected to have stolen the machines from the district hospital.
The suspect is currently in police custody and is expected to be taken to court soon to answer theft-related charges.
