Motorcycle Operator Killed, Bike Stolen in Kasungu

Police in Kasungu are searching for suspected bandits who killed a motorcycle operator and stole his motorbike. The victim has been identified as Clement Banda.
The Assistant Public Relations Officer for Kasungu Police, Chifundo Nedi, said the incident occurred on the 16th of this month in Nyamula Village under Traditional Authority Lukwa.
Nedi explained that at around 8:00 p.m., Banda was leaving Nyamula Trading Centre when he was ambushed by unknown assailants. The attackers brutally assaulted him to death before making away with his motorbike.
Banda was a resident of Nyamula Village under Traditional Authority Lukwa.
