Former Ntcheu West MP Joyce Chizimba Dies

Former Ntcheu West Member of Parliament, Joyce Chiendausiku Chizimba, has died, her family has confirmed.
Speaking on behalf of the family, Ntcheu Central Member of Parliament Paul Wongani Ng’oma said Chizimba passed away early this morning at Good Hope Private Hospital in Lilongwe.
Ng’oma said the former legislator had been experiencing heart-related complications for several days before she was admitted for medical care.
According to preliminary funeral arrangements, Chizimba will be laid to rest at her home in Traditional Authority Kwataine, Ntcheu District.
Chizimba served as Member of Parliament for Ntcheu West Constituency from 2004 to 2009.
