The Office of the Second Vice President has denied social media claims linking the Vice President’s convoy to a fatal accident in Kasungu.

Press Officer Dave Gadama called the reports false, stating the vehicle involved was not part of the Vice President’s convoy.

He clarified that the vehicle actually belongs to the Roads Authority. The accident occurred in Ntchisi, not Kasungu, as some reports claimed.

The Office emphasized the importance of verifying information before sharing it online.

The public has been urged to rely on credible news sources to avoid spreading misinformation.
