Body of Woman Missing After Shire River Boat Accident Found

The body of a 43-year-old woman who went missing following a boat accident that occurred on January 3 in the Shire River in Chikwawa District has been found floating in the river.
Chikwawa Police spokesperson Sergeant Dickson Matemba confirmed the development and identified the deceased as Magret Kulanga of Tsoka Village, Traditional Authority Thomas, Thyolo District.
Matemba said that five other people who were on the boat were rescued at the time of the accident, while three people went missing, including the deceased.
He added that the search for the remaining two missing persons is still underway.
