Police Hunt Suspects After Mob Burns K45 Million Vehicle in Machinga

Police in Machinga District have launched a manhunt for suspects involved in the burning of a TATA vehicle registration number MC 8022, valued at K45 million.
Machinga Police Public Relations Officer Western Kansire said the incident occurred at around 8:00 pm last night following a road accident.
The vehicle reportedly collided with an unregistered motorcycle, triggering anger among people at the scene.Police, Car Burn
Kansire said an angry mob assaulted the driver before setting the vehicle on fire. The vehicle was completely destroyed in the blaze.
During the accident, the motorcycle rider sustained injuries. The victim was treated at Mkwepele Health Centre and later discharged.
