Thieves Kill Security Guard at Late Vocalist Elivancy Myabah’s Home in Ngumbe

The incident occurred on Tuesday night, when the assailants reportedly stormed the home, stole various household items and brutally attacked the guard guarding the property, killing him on the spot.

Elivancy, who was a member of The Hive Band, died in a road accident along the Phalula road a few weeks ago together with four other band members. Since her death, a security guard had been stationed at her home to safeguard the property.

As of the time of publishing, police had not yet issued an official statement regarding the incident.

The development has shocked many Malawians, with social media users expressing grief and anger over the attack, especially given that the tragedy comes so soon after the musician’s untimely death.
