Mentally Challenged Man Found Dead at Nkhata Bay Technical College

Musanda Manda 41, commonly known as Buju has been murdered at the district’s Technical College.
The body was discovered in the late hours of January 07, 2026 but in a decomposed state.
It was suspected that his friend of unsound mind had murdered him because the two used to share the same apartment but they used to quarrel in most of the times.
Nkhata Bay Police detectives accompanied by a medical personnel visited the scene of incidence.
Postmortem examination on the remains of Manda failed to establish the cause of death as the body was found in a decomposed state.
However, it is suspected that the cause of death could be loss of blood as there were stains of blood where the dead body was found.
Currently, police in the district are seeking to apprehend the suspect and refer him to a mental health facility for treatment as he is posing danger to himself and the society.
Manda hailed from Zamandele Village, Traditional Authority Mkumbira in Nkhata Bay district.
