Former Deputy Speaker Madalitso Kazombo to be Laid to Rest in Kasungu

The body of former Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, Madalitso Fred Kazombo, will be laid to rest on Sunday at Vikuyu Estate in Kasungu District.
Family member Khumbize Kandodo Chiponda confirmed that the body was taken from the funeral home to his residence in Area 43, Lilongwe.
She said funeral proceedings will be held on Saturday from 9:30 am at his home.
At 1:00 pm, the body will be taken to the MCP headquarters for party leaders to pay their last respects.
At 2:30 pm, the body will be transported to his home village in Vikuyu Estate, Kasungu.
Kazombo served as Member of Parliament for Kasungu East Constituency from 2014 to 2025.
He died at the age of 44 and is survived by a wife and three children.
