Three Arrested for Alleged Theft of MTL Cables in Lilongwe

Lingadzi Police have arrested three suspects for allegedly stealing Malawi Telecommunications Limited (MTL) cables at Chitukuko in Area 47, Lilongwe.
Lingadzi Police spokesperson Sergeant Maria Kumwenda identified the suspects as Joseph Tomasi (26), Justin Lemon (29), and Victor Kawere (53).
Kumwenda said the suspects were apprehended by members of the public while stealing the cables and were later handed over to the police.
The suspects are currently in police custody awaiting appearance in court.
