Namiwa Arrives at Presscane Limited In Chikwawa Ahead of Vigils

The Executive Director of the Center for Democracy and Development Initiatives (CDEDI), Sylvester Namiwa, has arrived at the entrance of Presscane Company, where he is participating in a vigil with people affected by the company’s straw operations.
Namiwa has urged the participants not to be afraid, assuring them that no one will come out to threaten them.
The participants, who are the victims, are waiting for district commissioner of Chikwawa to address them.
