Mchinji Man Arrested for Allegedly Cultivating Cannabis Without Permit

Police in Mchinji have arrested 37-year-old Kambani Tadeyo for allegedly cultivating cannabis without a permit.
The district’s police spokesperson, Limbani Mpinganjira, said Tadeyo was arrested on the 13th of this month after members of the public tipped off the police about the matter.
Officers uprooted the cannabis plants, which have since been sent to the Chitedze Agricultural Research Centre for testing.
