Government to Report on Chilima, 8 Others Plane Crash Review

The government has announced that it will soon present a report to Parliament outlining the next steps following a review of documents related to the Chikangawa plane crash.
The tragic accident claimed the life of former Vice President Saulos Chilima and eight others in 2024.
Minister of Information Shadric Namalomba told lawmakers on Wednesday that the Minister of Justice has completed the review process.
He said the government is now considering the appropriate course of action before formally tabling the matter.
Namalomba assured the nation that the issue will soon be resolved and brought to a conclusion.
