Witch Doctor Arrested in Lilongwe Over Alleged Robbery and Killing of Woman

Police in Lilongwe have arrested a 48-year-old witch doctor, Philip Malenga, on suspicion of robbing and killing 30-year-old Memory Kamange.
Central West Police Region spokesperson, Foster Benjamin, said the incident occurred on the 11th of this month at the Botanic Gardens in Area 18.
Following a missing person report, police traced Kamange’s mobile phone to Malenga at Ngomani. He later led officers to the Botanic Gardens, where her body was found.
He is expected to appear in court soon.
