Outrage in Blantyre After Suspect Dies in Police Cell, Police Fire Teargas

According to reports from the community, some believe the young man, who was arrested on suspicion of theft, may have died from a beating, while others suspect suicide.
Beatrice Mikuwa, spokesperson for the Southern Region Police, confirmed the death and stated that an official investigation is underway to determine the cause.
