Police Nab 39-Year-Old Suspect for Buying Stolen Goods in Kawale

Police in Kawale have arrested 39-year-old Flosiyano Kayange, popularly known as Mkasa, on suspicion of buying stolen property.
According to Kawale Police Publicist Precious Mavuto Phiri, Kayange has been charged with receiving stolen property, an offense under the law. Detectives acted on a tip-off and conducted a search at his residence, where they reportedly recovered various stolen items.
Further investigations revealed that Kayange was previously granted court bail in connection with a similar case. However, police say he absconded and failed to comply with the bail conditions.
He remains in police custody and is expected to appear in court soon.
