Man Accused of Stealing Goat Burnt Alive by Angry Mob, Police Launch Manhunt 

Police in Chikwawa have intensified efforts to track down suspects believed to be involved in the brutal killing of 31-year-old Yohane Maloti from Ndagonera Village under Traditional Authority Ndakwera.

The deceased was reportedly assaulted by a group of people who accused him of stealing livestock before setting him ablaze.

His charred remains were later discovered after relatives raised concern over his sudden disappearance that night.

Authorities have condemned the act, describing it as a serious violation of the law and a tragic loss of life.

Chikwawa Police deputy public relations officer Chancy Mfune Zare stated that investigations are underway to identify and arrest all those responsible.

Law enforcement officers have urged communities to seek justice through legal channels rather than resorting to mob violence.
