Malawian Filmmaker Flora Suya Appointed NAGA Country Director

The Nollywood African Golden Awards (NAGA) has appointed Flora Suya as its Country Director for Malawi.
According to the organization’s leader, Percy Monday Edoki, the awards body was established to promote and develop film talent across Africa.
Edoki said Suya was selected for the role in recognition of her contributions to acting and film production within the industry.
In her remarks, Suya expressed gratitude for the appointment, saying she is ready to advance the growth of Malawi’s film industry and strengthen collaboration with filmmakers in Nigeria.
She added that she is committed to ensuring that Malawian film talent gains wider exposure across the African continent.
