Man takes own life following fight with aunt in Mzimba

Kafukule Police Station in Mzimba District has confirmed that a 22-year-old man, Precious Ziba, has taken his own life after a dispute with his aunt.
Publicist for the station, Thomas Jemitala, said Ziba had been drinking at Kafukule Trading Centre on 6 March before returning home drunk around 11 PM, where he allegedly assaulted his aunt and took her phone before disappearing.
After four days missing, Ziba was found hanging in his bedroom on 10 March.
Jemitala further said a postmortem confirmed death due to strangulation from hanging and no foul play is suspected.
