One of the individuals initially arrested in connection with the high-profile fraud case involving Frazer Zimba has come forward to clear his name, saying he was wrongly caught up in the situation.

Brian Mitondo claims his association with the suspects is what led to his arrest, despite having no involvement in the alleged fraudulent activities.

According to Mitondo, on the day of his arrest, he had simply been invited to hang out, where he found Frazer Zimba and others in the company of two women. As the evening progressed, one of the women requested to use his car to meet a “customer,” and he agreed. Frazer reportedly accompanied them.

However, things took a dramatic turn when the so-called customer turned out to be an undercover police officer, leading to their immediate arrest. Police then returned to the original location and apprehended everyone present including Mitondo, despite his insistence that he had no knowledge of any illegal dealings.

Following further investigations, Mitondo was released on bail and is now expected to appear in court as a witness, not a suspect.

This development adds a new twist to the already controversial case, which has exposed a luxury “fake life” allegedly funded by fraud, with several individuals now distancing themselves from Frazer Zimba.

Mitondo’s statement echoes earlier remarks by a business lady who was seen hanging with the mastermind in a certain video,  Tashmiswa, who also publicly distanced herself, claiming she too was a victim and unaware of the alleged scams.
