Police Arrest Suspect in Murd3r of Charity Froliano in Machinga

Police in Machinga have arrested a 40-year-old man, Witness Hambeyani, in connection with the murder of 26-year-old Charity Froliano.
Froliano’s body was discovered at Zee Lodge in Liwonde Township, sparking concern among residents in the district.
According to a statement signed by Alfred Chinthere, the Deputy National Police Spokesperson, Hambeyani is a mechanic based in Blantyre.
Police say the arrest marks a significant step in the investigation, and have assured the public that efforts to uncover the full circumstances surrounding the incident are ongoing.
The statement further indicates that law enforcement has deployed a dedicated Homicide Task Force to thoroughly investigate the case, establish its cause, and ensure that justice is served.

Hambeyani hails from Traditional Authority Kachindamoto in Machinga District.
