The Mkukula Magistrate’s Court has adjourned to April 10, 2026, a case in which former State Procurement Committee (SPC) chairperson Colleen Zamba is challenging two arrest warrants.

Her lawyer, George Kadzipatike, argued that Zamba, who is already on bail in other cases, is available for investigations and should be summoned rather than arrested. He described the warrants as a form of pre-trial victimisation.

However, State lawyer Prescott Mwayiulipo disputed the claim, arguing that the defence has not produced the warrants in question or specified the law enforcement agency responsible.

Zamba faces separate charges, including alleged abuse of office and money laundering linked to the Amaryllis Hotel deal.
