Police in Soche, Blantyre, have reported that four people were injured following a collision this morning between a Toyota truck and an Illovo Company ambulance (Toyota Land Cruiser) at a location known as Mtonga-B, near Green Corner in the city.

Soche Police spokesperson Aaron Chilala said the Toyota truck, registration number BX 56/SA5504, was travelling from Blantyre towards Chikwawa, while the Illovo Company ambulance, registration number CK11529, was travelling in the opposite direction.

According to Chilala, when the truck reached the area, its driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to veer onto the opposite side of the road and collide head-on with the ambulance.
