Chinkhuti Secondary School students destroy school properties over dubious pricing of 2018 exam fees

Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) candidates for the 2018 examinations at Chinkhuti Secondary School in Lumbadzi in Lilongwe on Thursday went on rampage, destroying school property as they protested against what they described as dubious pricing of exam fees.

The students allege school administration adjusted the exam fee by a margin of over 50 percent compared to fees established by the Malawi National Examinations Board.

According to Zodiak Broadcasting Station (ZBS), several students have been arrested but police are yet to speak on the matter.
