Nigerian actress, singer, and philanthropist Tonto Dikeh on Monday night attended a Diplomatic Service at Enlightened Christian Gathering (ECG) church in Pretoria, South Africa.
Spokesperson for Prophet Shepherd Bushiri, Ephraim Nyondo confirmed of the development in a statement posted on his official facebook page seen by faceofmalawi reporter.
“Nigerian actress Tonto Dikeh last night prayed with us during the Monday Night Diplomatic Service in Pretoria, South Africa.
“This comes barely a week after US gospel star Todd Dulaney, the worshiper behind the song Vistory Belongs to Jesus, performed in our church,” wrote Nyondo.
Dikeh, born on June 9, 1985 featured in a movie titled Dirty Secret which generated controversy amongst Nigerians because the movie contained numerous adult scenes which at then was quite alien in the Nigerian movie industry.
While some criticised her role for being untraditional and un-African, others said that Dikeh was merely being professional.
